Applied Chemistry
The Applied Chemistry Department of Kashan University has the ability to conduct research in the fundamental and applied fields of chemistry as follows:
- Investigating the possibility of producing renewable fuel from saline water plants.
- Study of industrial pollutants in Kashan region and checking the possibility of their removal and conversion
- Studying the nature of dusts entrée to Kashan
- Designing, producing, and analyzing the properties of various catalytic converters
- Designing, producing, and analyzing the composites, biopolymers, and drugs
- Production of transport fuels from non-oil sources
- Designing and production of supercapacitors and other energy storage devices on a commercial scale
- Water and industrial waste water treatment
- Controlling and eliminating industrial pollutants and converting them
- Modeling and Simulation of Chemical Processes
- Assessment of drinking water quality and feasibility of management of water use dissociation
Among the capabilities of graduates of this specialty, cooperation in teaching chemistry and research in scientific-specialized centers, the ability to direct and collaborate in research and development laboratories, controlling the quality of raw materials and products of the chemical industry, solving chemical problems and providing better methods for improving the quality and productivity of various industries.
